How the maths works

Concentration = vial amount ÷ solvent volume. Volume to draw = target amount ÷ concentration. Units = volume in mL × 100 on a standard 1 mL insulin syringe.

Why volume matters

Adding more water does not change how much peptide is in the vial — only how much liquid contains it. Larger volumes give easier-to-read syringe marks; smaller volumes give more concentrated solutions.
